Rat Monitoring – November

Join us for our seasonal rat monitoring programme.

The November rat monitoring programme repeats the August process, providing valuable information to help assess predator control outcomes across the valley.

Working in teams of two or more, volunteers place tracking cards into existing monitoring tunnels on the first day and return the following day to collect them. There are eight monitoring lines with ten tunnels on each line.

Accommodation will be provided at the Pureora Village Fire Station.

Join Us

Whether you're an experienced volunteer or joining us for the first time, we'd love to have you involved. Training, support and guidance are provided, and newcomers are always paired with experienced volunteers.
