Volunteering on Mt Pirongia offers a hands-on opportunity to connect with our environment, learn about native species, and gain the satisfaction of helping restore an important piece of our ecological and cultural history.

We’re a friendly and welcoming community, always excited to meet new volunteers who share our passion for caring for the maunga and ngahere. While we can’t promise riches or fame, we do reward your mahi with good company, refreshments, and the joy of making a real difference.
