Protect, nurture, and celebrate the ecological, cultural, and recreational values of Mt Pirongia.
Preserve the physical and spiritual integrity of the mountain in accordance with Māori tikanga (customs and historical importance).
Uphold and respect the accumulated Māori history and knowledge related to Mt Pirongia in all Society activities.
Engage with local, public, and government bodies, organizations, and individuals to safeguard, promote, and restore the natural environment and ensure the wise use and management of Mt Pirongia.
Raise awareness and encourage community involvement in restoring and conserving the ecological, cultural, and recreational richness of Mt Pirongia.
Support research that strengthens the objectives of the Society and deepens understanding of the mountain’s ecosystems and cultural heritage.
Organize meetings, print and share educational materials, and use media and communications to further the Society’s vision.
Provide financial, material, and physical support to protect and enhance the ecological, cultural, and recreational values of Mt Pirongia.
